Behind the screen: My journey as a developer.

Hello, my name is Florian. I studied computer science in Kempten, Germany, and Dundee, Scotland, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree.

I am an experienced web developer specializing in building efficient and scalable RESTful APIs with PHP, Laravel, and SQL. I value clean code, well-thought-out architecture, and reliable backend solutions. I believe in continuous learning and adapting to new technologies to deliver the best possible results.

After graduating, I started my career as a full-stack developer and developed both frontends and APIs. Over time, I specialised in the development of APIs, continued my education and gained valuable experience in this area. Today, I am a team leader for software development specialising in API development in CMS and newsletter systems.

In my role, I work closely with our product owners to discuss and implement their requirements in the software, and I also handle sprint planning within our sprint team.

When I’m not coding, you can find me trying to decode the stock market—because who said coding can’t pay off? I also enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending time with my family.
